Raising Privilege & Peace

It’s hard to believe that there was a time where this would have not been possible. A world where I wouldn’t be here raising two boys, a product of an interracial marriage. And still, we live in world where I will have to raise these boys with the acknowledgment and clear understanding of their undoubted privilege, not just to BE good humans but to challenge others to be good & accepting humans as well.

Men that WILL see color and will love it, appreciate it and be deeply rooted in their own blood line and past.

Men that will judge others not by the color of their skin, but the content of their character.

Let’s celebrate the ones who came before us in the fight for justice, and acknowledge that we still have a long way to go.
